The Winners of The Game Awards 2022
This year’s Game Awards was so great to watch and experience, guessing who would win with friends was cool to do. So here are the nominations that won awards this time around!
There were 31 categories this year for the Game Awards and two games took a lot of those up: God of War: Ragnarök and Elden Ring. So let’s start off with the nominations won by them.
Nominations Won by Elden Ring
Elden Ring winning Game of The Year was nice to see, especially because I expected God of War: Ragnarök to win! It does suck that after the Developers said their speech, it seemed to be overshadowed by a boy trying to funny on stage. They definitely deserved the award and I cannot wait to see what more they expand with the story if they introduce story expansions. Elden Ring won 4 Awards throughout the event, and they deserved to win the categories they were nominated for.

Nominations Won by God of War: Ragnarök
God of War: Ragnarök won a total of 6 awards at the Game Awards. One of of the best award moments was Christopher Judge’s speech. It was raw, unfiltered and very genuine. He didn’t even think he would win the award and voted for Sunny Suljic who played Atreus. God of War Ragnarök and its developers deserve to celebrate the great work they have done with the game.
